Mobile construction for plant protection

A new innovative project is underway that aims to develop a new solution for covering agricultural crops. The project, which is being undertaken by Qtech in collaboration with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture from Zagreb, seeks to create a new system that will allow for a more efficient configuration of crop areas depending on production needs.

The project is still in its early stages, but the team is confident that the new system will be significantly more advanced than existing solutions on the market in terms of durability, thermal insulation, and physical resistance. In addition, the new system will be easier to assemble and disassemble and more cost-effective.

The mobile construction for crop protection will be controlled by a new software system developed by Qtech and Drvoplast. This system will allow for automatic opening and closing of the coverings depending on weather conditions and will be easily managed via mobile devices or computers.

The development of new technologies for crop protection is essential for the future of agriculture. With the global population expected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050, the demand for food will continue to increase, putting pressure on farmers to produce more with fewer resources.

That is why this open-source project needs your support. If you are a farmer, an agricultural engineer, or just someone with an interest in the future of agriculture, please consider joining this project. Your support will help ensure that this innovative new system is developed and made available to farmers worldwide.
